Florida Gators super star quarterback Tim Tebow took the hardest hit of his career yesterday against the Kentucky Wildcats.
Sad part about it, the hit was not even that hard. Watch below…
Tebow better get used to taking hits harder than that once he makes it to the NFL level. If he follows suit with the rest of the great University of Florida quarterbacks who make nothing more than big name clipboard holders in the NFL– think Danny Wuerrfel, Doug Johnson, Chris Leak– he should be fine.
My realistic thoughts for him? He becomes a small tight end or slow wideout in the NFL, ala Matt Jones with the Jacksonville Jaguars a few years back.
Let’s just hope that dose of reality doesn’t lead to a cocaine addiction like Jones found.
What do you all think? Was the hit that Tebow took rather pedestrian, or was it actually a legit strike? I have seen much worse, and the victim just pops back up and plays.
