No real surprise here…Charlie Weis has been fired as the head coach of Notre Dame.
Here is what I have to say…
Charlie—you have five years, you could not produce a winner. No harm no foul. I am excited to see you head back to the NFL where you will no doubt be a bang up offensive coordinator
Question #1 is, where will you land?
Question # 2 is, who will replace you?
Chances are no one will move on Weis this season, as their is only 5 games left, and that is not enough time to install an offensive scheme.
Who do you think will be the next head coach at Notre Dame? Any names out there? I know Urban Meyer has stifled any rumors that he may be leaving UF to head to South Bend…what other names are being tossed around?
Any chance a team will pick up Weis as an adviser until next season? Thoughts? Leave some comments below…
