Another big coaching move on the NCAA football front as read on ESPN.com:
TALLAHASSEE — Legendary Florida State coach Bobby Bowden, who built one of college football’s greatest dynasties in 34 seasons with the Seminoles, plans to announce his retirement Tuesday morning, sources close to the situation told ESPN.com.

I feel awkward writing about the Cleveland Browns two days in a row, but sometimes when you are 1-8, the headlines are pretty blog worthy.
Last night, I posted a blog about Browns quarterback Brady Quinn drilling Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs. I think, the hit looked clean, but the NFL ruled other wise today, fining the pretty boy quarterback $10,000. Whatever. This is to me, is a joke. So, I got a letter the other day in the mail that made my year.
It read:
September 17th, 2009
Dear Valued Customer:
Comcast is pleased to announce that we have recently added ESPNU, NFL Network, NBA TV, NHL TV, MLB TV, and ESPN News to our Digital Classic Tier.
The letter went on to say some more things about lineup changes, new HD stations…but really, all of that was irrelevant because I now have TONS of sports stations to watch, and it doesn’t cost me anything additionally.

A sign that the world of sports is not TOTALLY paranoid. St Johns University has hired a guy to Tweet his way through the season. Instant updates. From the sidelines.
